Gas-powered earth auger is composed of two parts: a host machine and a support mechanism
- The main engine is composed of a rotary motor and a feed mechanism, and the rotary motor is composed of components such as a motor, a gearbox, and a reversing valve. The reversing valve controls the opening and reversing of the motor. The compressed air through the reversing valve drives the motor gear and spindle to rotate, thereby driving the drilling tool to rotate. The feed mechanism consists of a feed motor, a reversing valve, a rack, a guide rail, and other components. The reversing valve controls the feed motor to drive the driving gear to drive on the rack, thereby driving the rotary motor forward and backward to achieve the purpose of drilling.
- The support mechanism consists of two cylinders, a cylinder connecting pipe, a cylinder reversing valve, and a secondary support. The high-pressure air controls the lifting and lowering of the cylinder through the reversing valve to achieve the purpose of tightening the roof and stabilizing the drilling rig. The auxiliary support functions as an auxiliary support for the drilling rig by adjusting the angle.
